Chapter Activities

Meetings - The chapter has monthly meetings from September through June. The topics are of general interest in the computer field. The meetings are usually held the first Wednesday of the month at Loyola Marymount University, University Hall with the program starting at 7 PM. The social hour and dinner start at 6 PM. No resevations are required for most meetings and you may purchase food at the adjacent LMU dining facility and join us for dinner.

Note, for the past six months most of the monthly meetings have been Professional Mixers held at the El Segundo Fish Company, starting at 6:30 P.M. Resturant Menu and directions can be obtainted at www.esfishco.com.   Click here for details.
 

Newsletter - The DATA-LINK is the chapter newsletter which contains information about activities of the chapter and of other computer related organizations in the area.
Special Technical Interest - There are special interest groups (called Technical Activity Committees) focusing on programming languages (SIGPLAN), on artificial intelligence (TACART), and on numerical analysis (TACNUM). These groups have additional meetings.
